Imperial Teas (Private) Limited was established in 1993 and is
ranked among the Top Tea Exporters from Sri Lanka. We
manufacture and export several private branded teas, in bulk and
packeted form. We manufacture and produces all our products in
our own factory premises. Imperial Teas has permanent staff
across the divisions of Marketing, Shipping, Quality Assurance,
Tea, Finance, Information Technology, Product Development,
Packing Material Procurement, Production and Planning. We have
an experienced tea division with advanced skills in blending and
tea tasting, and a dedicated marketing team focused on promoting
the company’s packing capabilities and qualities. We are
accredited with a number of internationally recognized quality
standards and has been awarded over the years for its business
excellence and performance. Our factory comprises a facility
with over 310,000 square feet dedicated to tasting, blending,
packing and shipping. We are equipped with state-of-the-art
machinery that can comply with customised blending and packaging
requirements. Our tea bagging facility is equipped with 15 Maisa
Machines, eight PT, 2 IMA and one Pyramid. We also have six
overwrapping machines, four packeting machines and three shrink
wrapping machines. IMPRA, ROYAL ELIXIR, HEAVENLY and REGAL 1998:
Listed as one of the top 10 Tea Exporters in Sri Lanka. 2000:
Adjudged the Best Sri Lankan Brand Exporter at the export awards
held by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka. 2001:
Adjudged the Best Sri Lankan Brand Exporter at the export awards
held by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka, for the
second time. 2002: Adjudged the Best Sri Lankan Brand Exporter
at the export awards held by the National Chamber of Exporters
of Sri Lanka, for the third time. 2003: Won the Most Outstanding
Export Award, Export Excellence and Silver Award for Export
Excellence, from the Department of Commerce of the Government of

Established own distribution and warehousing in Russia. Awarded

food and the management of food safety principles, the FSSC
22000 certification enables the manufacturing, packaging and
delivery of reliable food products. ISO 22000 : 2005 The
International Organisation of Standardisation’s certification
for regulating food products, ISO 22000:2005 assists us in
maintaining what is necessary for safe, healthy and nourishing
tea. ISO 14001 : 2004 A certification that aims to regulate the
impact made on the environment, ISO 14001:2004 ensures that all
our business processes operate in compliance to state
environmental laws. HACCP SYSTEM CERTIFIED The Hazard Analysis
and Critical Control Points System Certification establishes and
maintains various control points that affect the safety and
hygiene of our tea and tea products. GMP The Good Manufacturing
Practices Certification sets the foundation for the safe and
responsible production, handling, licensing and sale of superior
quality Ceylon tea. RAINFOREST ALLIANCE The Rainforest Alliance
certification signifies the initiative to conserve our
environment, while building a healthy quality of life for local
communities. NASAA CERTIFIED ORGANIC The National Association of
Sustainable Agriculture, Australia contributes to the education
and standardization of organic harvests, across many facets of
the agriculture industry. USDA ORGANIC A certificate that is
directly endorsed by the United States Department of
Agriculture, USDA Organic serves to regulate and educate
establishments on sustaining a responsible business that
specializes in organic produce. AUCTION The Colombo Tea Auction
is the world's largest single-origin tea auction held every
Tuesday and Wednesday at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. On
average about 6 million kilograms of Ceylon tea is sold each

Imperial Spices (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of Imperial Teas
(Private) Limited, focuses on exporting in bulk the Best Sri
Lankan Spices such as cinnamon, pepper, cloves, and nutmeg,
which are ethically sourced from local suppliers and free of
chemicals. Recently, with increasing demand in international
markets, the company has initiated value additions. This has
enabled the company to develop and export value-added products
such as white pepper, cinnamon bark oil, cinnamon leaf oil,
cinnamon quills, among other products. The company has achieved
a rapid growth in turnover because of the commitment and
continuous effort of the employees backed by the experienced Top
management. Our business contributes to the National Economy and
also helps to improve the quality of living of the Sri Lankan
Farmers. Company turnover per annum exceeds USD 12 million (over
2 billion LKR) which is a growth of 34 % compared to the
previous year. Our factory located in Naula has a concrete
drying yard with 44,000 square feet of shade drying, 4,000
square feet of mechanical drying capacities. We are able to
process 800kg of material at one time. We have a separate 1,600
square foot floor for white pepper processing. We adhere to the
5S manufacturing system. Our distillation division produces oil
from cinnamon bark, nutmeg, clove and citronella, allowing us to
enter the oleoresin and spice oil markets with competitive
pricing. Our factory includes grinding facilities and a spice
fumigation room. We follow strict standards in cleaning and
grading and use Peperine Analysis Testing for pepper. Imperial
Spices (Pvt) Ltd is one of the leading exporters of Spices from
Sri Lanka Ceylon Cinnamon, Pepper, Clove, Nutmeg, Mace, Green
Pepper, Garcinia Cambogia, Areca Nut, Sesame and Cardamom.

Premier Packaging International (Private) Limited was
established in 2012 as a subsidiary of the Imperial Teas Group.
Our primary facilities are located in Kadawatha. We are engaged
in the printing of tea-bag tags and labels for exporters and the
local industry, based on the specific quality requirements of
our customers. We have an annual turnover of over 70 million
rupees. We have our own jumbo paper splitting, rewinding, online
and offline splitting and printing facilities. We can flexo
print on both sides with eight colours and UV varnishing. We
have a skilled team of over 24 people who bring to bear over 20
years of experience in the printing industry. We also operate
our own in-house delivery service. Catering to the tea trade by
supplying tea bag tags and envelopes in all forms. Able to
produce these in a number of colours catering to different types
of tea bagging machines such as; IMA, Maisa and Constanta.

subsidiary of Imperial Teas (Private) Limited, focuses on

Helping and supporting underprivileged school children and
communities: - Grade 5 Scholarship Exam - Eye screening for
donating spectacles - Donating school supplies As part of the
companys ongoing CSR activities staff of Imperial Teas Group
were engaged in a beach clean up operation on Monday 12th
November, cleaning the beach from Wellawatta railway station up
to Mount Lavinia. Our staff devoted the whole day for the clean
up operation and thereby doing their part in keeping the
environment clean and persevering the beautiful beach which is
one of the major tourists attractions of Sri Lanka.

Kenya In addition to this branch, the group also has a
subsidiary in Kenya that sources, processes and exports African
teas to the global market. Subsidiary for sourcing, processing
and exporting African teas Russia In 2013 the group set up its
own distribution and warehousing operation in Russia and
currently have over 30 staff and over 75 regional distributors
dedicated to marketing and promoting our tea brands. Australia
Speciality Tea Café and Retail outlet in Australia by the name
‘Brew It Your Way with Royal Elixir’, which is the first ‘blend
your own’ tea store in Australia under our Premium Brand Royal
Elixir. While Australians have been drinking tea since the early
days, we identified an opportunity to further mature the
Australian palate with a more diverse offering, and the option
to choose your own blend.

Germany As part of a minimal restructuring and expansion
process, a new building was constructed on one of the company’s
own factory premises. The marketing team, procurement and
product development teams were relocated here with expectation
to foster a more independent work environment to focus on market
growth mechanisms and product development. The company invested
LKR 1 million to develop own laboratory facility. The lab was
designed to test the ISO 3720 chemical parameters specified for
Black Tea. The laboratory facilitates 05 tests that can be
carried out to see if the tea is above or within the required
standard levels. It is currently in the process of obtaining a
3rd party accreditation from SLAB. With the establishment of
this lab, monitoring day-to-day compliances is done in-house and
non-compliances of tea suppliers can be informed in shorter span
of time that before and the internationally accepted standards
for consumable tea can be maintained. To maintain a steady flow
